Barcelona - Spanish textile firm Unitin has set up a new scheme, which aims to use all its Indigo cotton leftovers to make recycled yarn. Unitin, which has worked closely with knitting machine builder Santoni on the development of knitted denim fabric, says the new scheme is aimed at enhancing its adherence to environmental friendly production, a strategy which includes the adoption of a zero waste policy.
