injiniWichita - Invista is reporting a strong takeup of its Coolmax ?EcoMade? technology from a growing number of leading legwear brands and retailers.

The Coolmax EcoMade socks are made with fibre that is 97% derived from post-consumer bottles made of polyethylene terephthalate (PET), which are then cleaned and converted into polymer flakes. These flakes are then converted into polymer chips, melted and extruded into polyester fibre that can then be spun into yarn for legwear.
