Zurich - Fabric production grew globally by 1.2% in the third quarter of 2009, driven a strong surge in output from South America, according to the latest report from the ITMF.
With retailers now looking to restock in earnest after many purposefully allowed inventories to run low over the last 12 month, global fabric production increased or remained stable in all regions to meet the rising demand. In Europe, fabric orders increased by an impressive 5.1%.
