Friday, 21 May 2010

Winston Salem - Expedition Hanesbrands' Mount Everest climbing team, led by international mountaineer Jamie Clarke, have reached the 29,035-foot summit of the world's highest peak while testing some of the company?s latest knit and seamless apparel innovations.

Clarke began working with Hanesbrands' research and development scientists back in 2008 to develop new Champion and Duofold apparel that improved mobility, retained heat and shielded against the elements without adding weight or bulk.
