Open-width efficiency from Monarch
Tuesday, 23 April 2013

Leicester - Major investments in research and development programs by UK-based knitting machine builder Monarch and its Japanese business partner, Fukuhara have ensured that the company?s knitting machines incorporate the very latest technology. Emphasis has been placed on sustainable technology, energy saving and user-friendly features which ensure minimum downtime, maximum efficiency and, hence, maximum productivity.

Monarch?s fabric opening width facility was developed to avoid centre creasing when knitting fabrics incorporating elastomeric yarns and is based on a servo motor driving system to facilitate the precise control of the take-up amount.
