High speed intarsia from Shima Seiki
Tuesday, 23 July 2013

WAKAYAMA ? Shima Seiki has introduced a new intarsia machine for knitwear production that is said to offer unprecedented speed and efficiency. Knitting speeds are in the 1.4 metres per second range and with 40 intarsia carriers and the new R2Carriage, which improves the speed of carriage return, Shima says intarsia knitting is dramatically improved. The new machine is a successor to the MACH2SIG.
