London - Imports of clothing into the European Union increased by 6 per cent to ?17.9 billion in the first quarter of 2014, figures that will have come as a surprise to those who believed the flow of goods from China has slowed in recent months. The figures also show a 15 per cent increase of imports from Bangladesh, reaffirming that country?s buoyant position as a supplier to EU brands and retailers.
