Shanghai – This year's Planet Textiles conference takes place next month with high profile speakers from adidas, the ZHDC Group, VF Corp, bluesign and IPE China all lined-up for what promises to be a thought-provoking, timely show, particularly given the seismic changes currently taking place in China's textile industry where new laws are finally cracking down on textile polluters.

Sean Cady, VP global responsible sourcing at VF Corp, Claiborne-Iskorkutan, senior director of apparel materials as Adidas Apparel Sourcing and Peter Waeber, CEO at Bluesign Technologies are among speakers at the show. Scott Echols, the new technical director with the Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC) Group, is also confirmed to talk at the conference, which takes place on 14 October 2015 in Shanghai.

Kate Logan, Green Choice project manager at the Institute of Public and Environmental Affairs (IPE China), Nick Smith, head of textiles at Bayer Material Science, and Zhao Lin of Solidaridad are among the other speakers.
