Milan - Visitors to ITMA 2015 will be able to learn about the latest research and development projects from more than 40 presenters from 8 countries at the Speakers Platform.

The platform has been created to enable research and education institutes to present their project results and new technology for the textile industry in concise 20-minute slots.

The presentations, to be held from 15 to 17 November 2015, will centre on three key themes: Sustainable Innovations; Achievements in Innovation; and Technical Textiles Applications.

Presenters include Marco Beia, Centro Tessile Cotoniero E Abbigliamento S.P.A., Italy, who will discuss Comfort for Sportswear, and Marie-Isabel Popzyk, from the Institut Für Textiltechnik, RWTH Aachen University, Germany, who will talk about An Essential Performance; Development of a Process for Recycling of Blended Fabrics. Other presentations include Textiles for Health Monitoring by Marco Silvestri, Universita' Degli Studi Di Parma, Italy; Antishock Fashion by Davide Cassi, Universita' Degli Studi Di Parma, Italy; and the Sustainable Exploitation of Silk By-products by Alberto Petroni, Universita' Degli Studi Di Parma, Italy.
