Zurich - Global fabric production increased by more than 3% in the third quarter of 2016 compared to the previous in three months, driven by increases in Asia and South America. However the latest figures from the International Textile Manufacturers Federation’s State of Trade report show that while Asian and South American output grew by over 4% each, European fabric production fell by nearly 15% quarter-on-quarter.
