TOKYO ?Teijin has today announced the development of a new meta-linked high-performance polyamide fibre, which can be used in protective clothing, and reportedly, offers the highest level of heat resistance, combined with high-performance dye fastness. The new fibre will be produced in a new US$45 million manufacturing facility in Ayutthaya Province, Thailand.
