Misgav, Israel - Tefron Ltd. reported a
loss in its first quarter, compared to a profit last year, hurt by
manufacturing problems at its Hi-Tex division, a weak US dollar and higher
expenses. Looking forward, the company also said it expects a loss from its
operations for the second-quarter of 2008.--break--
