Ho Chi Minh City - Vietnam's garment and textile exports could reach US$30.5 billion in 2017 after achieving significant growth in the first eight months of the year. Speaking at the recent US Cotton Council International (CCI) event in Ho Chi Minh City, Vu Duc Giang, President of the Vietnam Textile Association (VITAS) said that in the first eight months of 2017, the sector enjoyed growth of 9.9 to $19.8 billion in exports compared to the same period in 2016.
