Stockholm - Coloreel has secured distribution in Europe for its new thread colouring unit for industrial embroidery machines.

The Coloreel technology enables instant colouring of textile thread while the thread is being used in textile production. The first product to be launched based on this technology was a thread colouring unit that works with existing industrial embroidery machinery.

With applications in the knitting and weaving sectors as well, Coloreel says that a number of leading distributors in key markets for the embroidery industry have signed on to become the foundation of the network. With a well-structured maintenance organization, the distributors will be in charge of sales, installation and service in respective markets.

"Coloreel is the most exciting innovation to happen in the world of embroidery for the past 20 years," says Tony Dorsey, CEO at AJS Embroidery, Coloreel distributor for the UK and Ireland market. " This technology will change the way many embroiderers work forever. By instantly coloring a white base thread during the embroidery production, Coloreel enables complete freedom to create unique embroideries without any limitations in the use of colors."

"We think that the Coloreel Technology will be the next step in the future of the Embroidery Business. No more color restrictions will help to create designs without any barriers," said Torsten Preiss, CEO at Barudan Deutschland, Coloreel Distributor for Germany, Denmark, Austria and Switzerland (German-speaking part).

Coloreel will launch their product in Europe first. However, the next step is to extend the dialogue to potential distributors outside Europe and expand the distribution network worldwide.

The product launch of the Coloreel unit will take place at the high-tech fashion fair Avantex in Paris, 17-20th September. At stand Z428, the customers will be able to meet with both Coloreel and the European distributors.
