Amsterdam – Fashion for Good has launched a collaborative project aimed at accelerating the adoption of bio-based and recycled elastane solutions that are compatible with circular knitwear systems.

The Stretching Circularity project will pilot-test lower‑impact stretch materials and regenerated elastane in real garments, with the goal of making stretch knits compatible with large‑scale fibre‑to‑fibre recycling and removing one of the most significant technical barriers to a circular textile economy.
