Wakayama - Japanese computerized flat knitting machine manufacturer Shima Seiki will exhibit at the upcoming Maquitex 2017 show in Matosinhos, Portugal where it will present a comprehensive lineup of its latest technology.
The flagship MACH2XS series WHOLEGARMENT knitting machine features Shima Seiki’s original SlideNeedle on four needlebeds as well as the patented spring-type sinker system. The SWG-N2 series compact WHOLEGARMENT knitting machine is a versatile lineup capable of producing a variety of small items and accessories. The SRY and SVR-SP machines feature loop pressers capable of producing unique knit-weave hybrid fabrics. The SSR machine features Shima Seiki benchmark technology in a compact, economical package.
Also on display will be the SDS-ONE APEX3 3D design system. Key to Shima Seiki’s “Total Fashion System” concept, APEX3 integrates all stages of apparel production into one smooth and efficient workflow through comprehensive support from planning and design to production and sales promotion.
With ultra-realistic product simulations, APEX3 is also capable of Virtual Sampling that minimizes the costly time- and resource-consuming sample-making process.
Maquitex 2017 takes place from 19 to 21 October 2017 at Exponor, Matosinhos, Portugal.
