Barletta - Stoll Italia, a subsidiary of Reutlingen, Germany-based flat knitting machine builder Stoll, has opened a new "Centro di Programmazione" in Barletta, Italy.
As well as a brand new showroom featuring the latest Stoll flat knitting machines and knitting patterns, the new establishment offers support for programming and repair work along with a small spare parts store for local Stoll customers. Operated by CFO Christof Gellan and his team the facility also incudes a training room for both software and machine training.
Stoll is one of the world's leading manufacturers of flat knitting machines. The long-established company was founded in 1873 and has 1,000 employees around the world.
The Stoll brand portfolio includes flat knitting machines and pattern software that are used to produce fashion and technical textiles. The company also exports its products to more than 50 countries worldwide.
