Harry Lucas GmbH has added a new, high speed machine to its RR2 range for the production of cylindrical, conical and curved tubular knitted fabrics for knee, ankle and elbow support and has also developed a new flat knitting machine which can handle stainless steel and copper wires.
UK technical textiles business, Baltex, is showcasing a new, knitted spacer 3D fabric at Techtextil which, made entirely from recycled polyester yarns, is expected to make in-roads into the mattress market. Brett Mathews reports from Frankfurt.
