Obertshausen - Warp knitting machine builder Karl Mayer will participate in a new brainstorming platform at the upcoming Interfiliere exhibition.
The new platform at the exhibition, which attracts lingerie and intimate wear buyers from across the industry, is called Innovative Co-Working and offers brand strategists, staff members of start-ups and designer entrepreneurs the opportunity to hold conversations with high-level trendsetters and suppliers from all fields of the textile supply chain.
Over the last few months, the key focus from Karl Mayer has been on wearables, body mapping for sportswear, one-piece creations for lingerie and genre-mixes, particularly the combination of lingerie and swimwear with Athleisure.
This, according to Gabriela Schellner, Head of Textile Technology at Karl Mayer, makes Innovative Co-Working and ideal platform for the machine builder to demonstrate its capabilities in the lingerie sector. "The developed styles and concepts already met with a great response at different trade fairs. In Paris, too, we are looking forward to having many interesting conversations in this respect," explains Schellner. "The lingerie business provides diverse development potential due to the know-how transfer, especially from the sportswear industry with its high demands on the function of clothing."
Interfiliere takes place from 18-20 January in Paris.
