lenzingPARIS - The Lenzing Group has confirmed plans to significantly expand the production capacity of its cellulosic fibre range, backed by a ?120 million investment in both Europe and Asia.

Speaking at this week?s Expofil exhibition in Paris, Dieter Eichinger, the Business Unit head of Textile Fibers said that the projects would be complete by 2011 and as well as the expansion of pulp supply, included the increase in Modal production capacity in Lenzing, Austria, a significant expansion of the site in Heiligenkreuz, also in Austria and the reconstruction of the Tencel plant in Grimsby, UK.
