Shanghai - Italian knitting machine builder Santoni has taken a major step forward in the development of its China-based operations with the official opening of its new manufacturing facility in Shanghai.

Speaking at the company?s Brescia, Italy headquarters last week, Gianpiero Valsecchi, Sales Area Manager, Santoni, told Knitting Trade Journal how the construction of the 30,000 square metre site would significantly improve the company?s ability to serve its customers in the region, particularly with the growing demand in China for the company?s latest seamless and large diameter knitting technology.
