invistaTexas - Invista has announced a capital investment program that will see it improve its infrastructure and add around 100 jobs to its operations in Houston, Texas over the next six years. The jobs will be created both in the administration and manufacturing facilities.

The company?s sites located in La Porte, Orange, and Victoria, Texas, manufacture more than four billion pounds of nylon intermediate chemicals a year used in the production of Invista products and brands such as Cordura fabric and Lycra fibre. In total, the company employs about 2,000 people in Texas.
