Colombo - Teejay Lanka, one of Sri Lanka's largest circular knitters, has joined the the U.S. Cotton Trust Protocol. Along with its wholly-owned subsidiary Teejay India, Teejay is the first textile manufacturer in Sri Lanka to join the Trust Protocol with membership allowing the company to prove the cotton fibre element in its sourcing mix is more sustainably grown with lower environmental and social risk.
