Istanbul - The Istanbul Yarn Fair, organized by Tüyap, will showcase the latest trends, innovations and technologies from some of the industry's leading yarn manufacturers when it opens in Turkey next week.

Scheduled for 24-26 February 2022, organisers are anticipating the return of more than 10,000 professional visitors and more than 300 exhibitors. The previous edition hosted 296 companies and company representatives from 22 countries, and 8.372 professional visitors from 86 countries across 15.250 sqm of exhibition space. The greatest number of buyers came from Bulgaria, Algeria, Morocco, India, Egypt, Uzbekistan, Russia, Tunisia, Ukraine and Pakistan

"The ready-to-wear and textile industry gets its success from the yarn industry," organisers said. "The production and export capacity of Turkey in the yarn industry, especially in cotton yarn, is increasing every year. The Istanbul Yarn Fair is one of the most important exhibition in its scope, and will bring together the rising Turkish textile industry and the biggest producers of the world at Tüyap Fair Convention and Congress Center."

On show will be thousands of yarn types ranging from natural yarns such as cotton and wool, to synthetics such as elastane and acrylics.

The exhibition will also run as a hybrid event to cater for those unable to travel.
