Milan - Italy’s spinning sector experienced another difficult year in 2025, with turnover, output and trade all forecast to decline, even as a handful of yarn categories – notably knitting and linen yarns – buck the trend

For the Italian spinning industry (including the production of wool, cotton, and linen yarns), the negative phase already recorded over the last two years is expected to continue once the final figures for 2025 are published.
