Shanghai - Flat knitting machine builder Stoll presented its latest trend collection, Materialization, and demonstrated its latest production process showcasing knitelligence at last week's SpinExpo Shanghai.

A key part of the presentation at the international sourcing exhibition dedicated to innovation in yarns, fibres and knitwear, was Stoll's new collection, Materialization.

This collection deals with the overcoming of material resistance which, says Stoll, is the biggest obstacle in the creation and manufacture of textiles.

Stoll was also promoting its new knitelligence machine generation which, ensuring a fully automated production process, includes the Adobe Photoshop software extension tool, STOLL-artwork.

The new knitelligence machine generation takes you into the future of digitization, the company says, adding that tailored to the specific needs of the digital world, this generation facilitates work through process automation, more transparency, shorter response times, shorter production cycles, and higher productivity.

"At the exhibition, Stoll welcomed a lot of interested customers," the company said. "Customers and leads alike were highly impressed with the new Trend Collection, Materialization, and the knitelligence production process. At the conclusion of the knitelligence live demo, visitors obtained a finished knitwear piece, with an individualized motif, as a souvenir. Spinexpo proved to be very satisfying and successful for Stoll."
