Wakayama - Leading flat knitting machine manufacturer Shima Seiki has announced that the fourth session in its series of Fashion Tech Webinars, will be held on October 27th. This session will focus on how to realize virtual samples for knitted goods and accessories other than garments.

Entitled Realizing manufacturing without physical samples - How to create digital prototypes for knitted goods, this session will demonstrate how Shima Seiki's Apex supports 3D design and simulation of various accessory items such as hats, scarves, ponchos, socks, tights, etc.

The realistic quality of these digital prototypes has been well received by customers around the world, the company says, noting that in this webinar, you will learn how to create patterns for these items, how to design cable and jacquard designs efficiently, and how to use various tools for making colour variations.

The webinar takes place on Wednesday, 27 Oct., 2021, 10am (CEST) / 4pm (HKT)
