North Carolina – Cotton Inc and Knitting Trade Journal discuss the textile industry nonprofit's latest research and development into producing 100% cotton shoe uppers on Shima Seiki and Stoll flat knitting machines.

Cotton Inc began working on fully fashioned knitting machines for shoe uppers by way of producing items that would ensure minimal to zero yarn and fabric waste - key requirements, it says, for its customers and consumers.
