Taiwan - The benefits of Stoll and Shima Seiki flat knitting technology played a key role at this week?s Taipei Innovative Textile Application Show where samples created on Stoll?s multi-gauge knitting machines and Shima?s WholeGarment technology combined to form an exceptional knitwear display from members of the Taiwan Sweater Industry Association, writes Haydn Davis in Taipei.

At a show that is becomingly increasingly renowned for attracting buyers from some of the world?s best known retailers and brands, the display included numerous student designs as well as samples from TSAI member companies which, according to the organisation?s secretary general Mao-Hsiu Chang, highlight the country?s capacity to offer innovative, high quality knitwear.
