Computerized knitting machine manufacturer Shima Seiki, together with its U.S. subsidiary Shima Seiki USA will participate in the Techtextil North America exhibition in Atlanta, Georgia, in May, showcasing its latest technological contributions to the field of technical textiles.

China to eliminate subsidies for textile exporters
The American Apparel and Footwear Association (AAFA) has welcomed news that China has agreed to eliminate a wide range of subsidies for its exporters following a US complaint to the World Trade Organization.
