Obertshausen – Warp knitting machine builder says its latest tricot technology is helping meet the growing demand for comfortable sun protection fabrics.

The fabrics are produced on an HKS 2-S in the new fine-gauge of E44, guaranteeing an excellent ultraviolet protection factor (UPF) and offering unique wearing comfort, Karl Mayer says, adding that the machine also offers high productivity, providing a daily output of 200kg of fabric per day.
