Misgav ? Seamless and intimate apparel maker Tefron has narrowed its loss for the latest second quarter, helped an increase in its production capacity and an expansion of its swimwear business to both US and European markets.

Tefron, which has undergone significant restructuring since the end of 2009 posted a net loss of US$2.0 million, compared to a loss of US$4.6 million in the same quarter last year. Revenues were US$24.94 million compared with US$25.26 million in the year-ago period while operating loss for the latest quarter also narrowed to US$2.3 million from US$5.7 million.
