Albstadt - After a strong 2012, Mayer and Cie remains in a buoyant mood. Speaking to Knitting Trade Journal at last week?s ITM show in Istanbul, Rainer Mayer, the company?s managing director suggested that the circular knitting machine builder could sell upwards of 1200 machines in 2013 with customers in Turkey among those who are looking to source a wider range of higher specification models.

The uptake in business has also prompted the company to increase capacity at its new machine assembly line in China.
