Colombo - Already considered the Rolls Royce of Sri Lanka's knitting sector, Textured Jersey Lanka has announced a number of significant investments and initiatives to add capacity and modernize its plant.

The company, which already operates a number of machines from European suppliers such as the specialist JOHN-TC model from Orizio, high-end fine gauge double jersey machines from Mayer & Cie and single and double jersey machines from Terrot, has signaled its intention to expand across the region and says it will invest a further US$4 million to increase capacity by around 10-12 per cent.
