sariObertshausen - Warp knitting machine builder Karl Mayer is experiencing a surge in demand for one of its high speed tricot machines from sari manufacturers in India.

Traditionally, saris have been produced on weaving machines but, according to Tim Wollnik, senior manager, sales and marketing at Karl Mayer, fabrics knitted on the company?s HKS 3-M model now offer a number of advantages over woven fabrics including increased stability.
