Reutlingen - Stoll has released the first details of its upcoming trend collection. Entitled 'FASTER: From(CONCEPT) - To(STORE)', this latest offering from the flat knitting machine builder is driven by the motto of the company's Fashion & Technology department: 'Design to Inspire'.

The new collection also lends itself to the concept of being inspired towards faster prototyping, which is made possible when encompassing Stoll's ever expanding range of services and tools created for flat knitting mills.

"Discover how to easily redesign Stoll samples from patternshop.stoll.com to create completely new pieces," says Stoll. "Take advantage of the faster, easier design and development process. Stoll samples are typically content-rich: every single item is like a Wikipedia for design and technical solutions, which allows for a wide array of re-interpretation."

In practice, says Stoll, one can read as many ideas out of a single piece as needed to create an entire knitwear collection. As proof of concept, Stoll has therefore illustrated how one can adapt the patternshop styles according to ones needs, style groups and price points.

"The number of material-intense iterations can be reduced, lowering costs and waste," the company says. "Beyond that, the STOLL knitelligence tools allow for faster on-demand production and thus can replace slower bulk production.

"Welcome to FASTER: From(CONCEPT)–To(STORE)! Be inspired for faster prototyping."
